Novant Health Matthews’s 5th Festival of Trees

Novant Health Matthews Medical Center will be hosting its 5^th Annual Festival of Trees beginning Monday, November 18 throughout the holiday season. CGH is very excited to participate by decorating our own tree which will be on display in the lobby located at 1500 Matthews Township Parkway. The lighting of the trees celebration will be held on Thursday, November 21 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. At that time, our tree will be featured in a silent auction to benefit the Novant Health Foundation.

Endoscopic Ultrasound

Endoscopic ultrasound is a minimally invasive procedure that combines endoscopy and ultrasound to produce highly detailed images of the lining and walls of the upper and lower gastrointestinal tract. These sound wave-produced images are used to determine the cause of symptoms of abdominal pain, or to diagnose or determine the spread of certain types of cancer. Radiofrequency Ablation for Barrett's Esophagus

Radiofrequency ablation is a treatment used for Barrett's esophagus which uses radio waves to kill precancerous and cancerous cells in the Barrett’s tissue.
