Staff fundraising for “Jeans Day” and Community Involvement
Charlotte Gastro staff on Fridays can wear jeans for the support of three non-profit foundations: Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation, Pancreatic Cancer Action Network and the Colon Cancer Foundation.
Staff can choose to donate $2 a Friday to show their support for these foundations. Participating staff then receive a “jeans badge” for the month with charity they are therefore donating to.
Along with Jeans Badges, staff has also donated in our staff break rooms for 9 Family Focus campaigns- Steve’s Coats for Kids with 150+ donations, 9 Books for Kids with 200+ donations and currently 9 School Tools. Different Charlotte Gastro office locations compete with each other for the most donations – and the office with the donations receives a pizza party.
