Happy 20th Anniversary, CGH!
On April 1, 1998, Charlotte Gastroenterology and Hepatology was formed by the merger of Carolina Gastroenterology Associates and Charlotte Digestive Disease. This physician team truly had a vision for the future.
When CGH was formed there was only one location on Randolph Road and two part-time satellites in the Matthews Medical Park and CMC-Mercy Medical Park.
During the early 2000’s endoscopy, infusion, and advanced level providers were added. Each year, full-time regional offices were added to assist our many patients in the Charlotte region.
Charlotte Gastroenterology is now the largest gastroenterology group in North Carolina and one of the top 10 groups in size in the country.
Through careful physician selection and knowledgeable strategic plans, we continue to grow and thrive.
