Get Your Rear in Gear 2019
GYRIG celebrated its 10th anniversary in Charlotte this year. It was the largest event yet with over 2,300 registered participants. More than $227,000 was raised and will stay in the Charlotte community to provide care. Charlotte Gastro had the largest corporate team of 76 registered members. We also collected a total of $3,870. Dr. Jason Wilson placed 3rd in the race in his age group and Cheryl Elliott placed 2nd in her age group.
We are proud of the number of physicians and staff who commit to this event each year. However, every day of the year at CGH we all walk the walk in the fight against colon cancer. Thanks for your continued support of this very important event.
