Charlotte Gastro co-sponsoring Get Your Rear in Gear
Charlotte Gastro is excited to be pairing up with Novant Health again this year as the presenting sponsors of the Colon Cancer Coalition’s Get Your Rear in Gear 5K Run/Walk. The event will be held at Independence Park on Saturday, March 7. The main attraction is a timed 5K run/walk but there will also be music, food, an award ceremony, vendors, a kids’ half-mile fun run, and much more.
The purpose of Get Your Rear in Gear is to provide education about colorectal cancer and encourage early screening. Funds raised from the Charlotte event stay in the local community.
In addition to our sponsorship, Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology forms a team. This year, our goal is to have 75 team members and raise $6,500. Would you like to help us reach this goal?
