CGH Mooresville: new and improved
On March 6, 2017, Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology opened the doors and welcomed patients to its brand new Mooresville office building. Since its groundbreaking in Spring 2016, CGH Mooresville physicians and staff have been looking forward to caring for patients in the new 16,500 square foot facility, which sits directly behind the previous building off Fairview Road.
Much time and care has been put into designing this state-of-the-art facility. Many “green” efficiencies were taken into consideration in the building materials and product choices. For example, energy efficiencies were utilized where sensors activate lighting upon entering the room and go off automatically shortly after exiting. Many of the products used are green certified. The overall interior design was done in a manner to bring the many beauties of nature within the building, inspired by the park-like setting of the building’s exterior.
The main entrance to the clinical office is visible from the front entrance of the parking lot. This office consists of 6,500 square feet which houses six physicians, one physician assistant, and eleven exam rooms. Patients are offered a spacious waiting room with neutral gray tones and soft lighting, which creates an aura more reminiscent of a spa than a medical clinic.
Over 5,000 square feet are dedicated to the endoscopy center, which sits below the clinical offices. A separate entrance is located at the back of the building. The CGH Mooresville Endoscopy Center has two each of prep bays, intake, and consultation rooms. The two spacious procedure rooms are complete with state-of-the-art equipment. Patients wake up from anesthesia in one of four recovery rooms complete with skylights, displaying a soothing, sunny, sky scene.
CGH Mooresville is located at 115 Commerce Pointe Boulevard, adjacent to Lake Norman Regional Medical Center and Lowes Corporate.
