Dr. Thekdi is originally from Toledo, Ohio but spent time in North Carolina during his undergraduate years at Duke University. After receiving his medical training in Ohio and Michigan, Dr. Thekdi found his way back to the Carolinas and joined Charlotte Gastroenterology & Hepatology in 2011.

Although practicing medicine is Dr. Thekdi’s true passion, he also enjoys cooking, traveling, reading, and sports.

I have to say wow. Everyone I came in contact with was professional, kind, and efficient. Everybody explained what was happening from start to finish. Dr. Thekdi explained everything before and after my procedure. All of my doctor and nurses are good, but this visit was exceptional.

All went very well and I felt at ease while at the office and during the procedure. Dr. Thekdi was new to me, but he was extremely kind, professional and a great doctor. I feel confident with him as my new physician.

I looked them up in 2018 and ended up meeting with Dr. Thekdi. He gave me a colonoscopy and caught my cancer (Stage 1). I am eternally grateful for Dr. Thekdi!
